Predatory, slimy salespeople keep calling or actually coming to my door despite my complete lack of interest. I asked the salesman who came by today if he was selling something and his answer was that he was NOT selling something but that he was actually here to give me a "final notice." I became concerned we owed ADT some sort of debt. But then he explained it's our "final notice" of a credit we have with ADT to put towards a new service. Barf. I can only hope that notice was our final one. If they are predatory and deceptive in their first impressions, I can only imagine what they are like after you are stuck being a customer.

I absolutely recommend specifically working with Ryan. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, as he has worked throughout all aspects of the security industry, for ADT and other companies. He seems to legitimately care more about helping his customers, even if the project is small. He didn't try to upsell, and was responsive for follow through and ensuring installation went good. He has restored my faith in the alarm business and I'm starting to recommend most of my own friends to him.

Cold call, door to door pushy salesman!! NEVER let anyone pressure you into buying in a 1 hr time frame. This is a shady sales tactic. After I got the “sales manager” to leave. The cheap flyer he gave me had no name or contact phone number. This has been promptly reported to ADT corporate and the authorities.

The five star reviews are all fake. This operation is straight bootleg. I ordered the system. The ap is trash so I called to have it removed. DEFENDER MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT to quit. The customer service is from the 1980's, requiring a fax. Then, when they finally came to remove the system, they never refunded me and two weeks later keep sending me bills. This is super unacceptable.

My experience of my recent installation process was great! The technician was very knowledgeable and understanding. He made sure that he provided me with the equipment and service that I wanted. He had a to creat pieces to make the equipment work, he stayed until the job was completed and kept the best attitude ever. The job took 10 hours to complete. He went above and beyond the call of duty to complete the job. He is The Technician
