I cannot say enough good things about the hard work and "care for clients" that Victoria Lopez has shown with respect to our (Carolyn Platz) account, which consists of three federal and three state tax returns. Victoria called me at 5:00 PM on a Friday explaining that there was a hiccup to our filing process...she explained that this was a solvable problem, she walked me through the process, and handled a follow-up question that I had on the call, by giving me another follow-up "client care" call later that Friday night. Then the next day, April 11, a Saturday morning, she contacted me informing me that the "fix" on the document had been completed and that the tax return was ready for the state filing, paper filing. She even stayed on the phone with me as I printed the tax return at my home, showing the change/fix, where we needed to sign and where to send the filing. Tax time can be stressful, and Victoria is an ideal personality--calm voice, attention to detail, very good at explaining things--which is needed at tax time when last-minute changes and workarounds and fixes are sometimes necessary. I've worked with Victoria in prior years on our annual tax preparation exercise, and she has always been timely with responses and has been able to solve, or at least explain, whatever is needed to be done to get the documents finalized and filed. At a time when so much is done remotely, it is very comforting to have a live professional available by phone or email when needed, and Victoria has ALWAYS been that person. Victoria has been particularly helpful to me, as an older woman not much liking such things as portals. I travel frequently in the spring, meaning I often need to expedite my tax prep. And I prefer not to use the portal. While this, obviously means extra work for her, Victoria has been incredibly helpful to me with this, even calling me after hours to ensure that materials have arrived by mail or carrier. So far, we haven't missed a filing date yet!
