If I could give Home Theater Builders 10 stars, I would. This was the single best experience I've ever had with a contractor. We converted a stand-alone second garage into a home theater that goes beyond our dreams. Here's why: 1. Let's start with the construction side. Yaniv and his team removed the garage wall, framed a new wall with stucco work that's indistinguishable from the other walls, hid pipes, and rewired the room to meet our needs. Work was done timely and with great care. Pricing was reasonable with absolutely no surprises. My preferences were taken into account without exception, and the final work was perfect - no flaws! And Yaniv worked aggressively with my town to get all necessary permitting. Communication was top-notch; the team was always available for questions, ideas, etc. 2. Working with Ofer, we used the best of my existing equipment and combined it with new equipment that worked within my budget. Here's an important point: unlike other home theater contractors I met with, Home Theater Builders is not a retailer - they do not benefit from your buying anything more than you need, though they have sourcing with great pricing for anything you need. Indeed, I was talked out of many expenditures and encouraged with zero pressure to invest in the equipment (i.e., my projector) that would have the biggest impact on the viewing experience. 3. The attention to every little detail was astonishing. If you have little or zero interest in how the theater comes together, you can leave it all to Ofer and you'll love what he does. But if you have any interest, as I did, in the process, you become a partner and collaborator with Ofer. Ofer's passion and enthusiasm for building theaters is limitless, and it extends down to the smallest screw in the system (I'm not exaggerating - Ofer hates screws! And wires!). He believes that attention to every little minor detail, added together, elevates the entire home theater experience, and he's absolutely right. 4. Best of all, the final product is absolutely amazing. My new theater goes beyond anything I could have imagined. Image and sound are perfect, and the entire home-viewing experience - down to the pre-screening lighting level - is wonderful. I could go on and on and still not adequately explain how happy we are with the entire experience, from first meeting to final sign-off. Do yourself a favor and call this team if you're even exploring the creation of your ideal home theater.

They did baffle wall and acoustic consultation in my Laguna beach house. Very respectful, showed up on time and very happy with the end result. Movies sound a lot better and the wall fabrics look much better.

Extremely professional and walked us through the entire process easily. We upgraded old theater to laser projector and Dolby atmo. With 4 subwoofers :) Exactly as it looks in the renderings they provided before we started.

Absolutely amazing experience! My friend build a 22 seats theater with them in Bel Air and told me they are one of the best home theater companies in California. They used natural acoustic materials that don’t cause irritation and covered it with acoustic fabric. Everything is hidden behind our theater fabric walls. The sound is twice as good and the room look amazing. We upgraded our equipment and they explained which components make the biggest impact. Based on our research they are the only company in SoCal with IMAX enhanced demo theater

They recently built a dedicated theater in an existing room in my house, handling everything from the projector setup to the full speaker, sub woofer and sound system installation. I consider myself an audiophile and I’m honestly blown away by the results! The amazing quality and stunning picture and sound are just incredible. The entire process was super smooth and professional with no hiccups. They really know what they’re doing! They also installed tv and surround sound system in my living room and I’m very pleased. Highly recommend
