I cannot recommend Chris and CH Design enough! From start to finish, working with him was an absolute pleasure. I had always dreamed of having the perfect kitchen, and Chris brought that vision to life with incredible attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism. He took the time to understand my style, preferences, and daily needs, ensuring every element of the design was both functional and stunning. His expertise and suggestions elevated the project to a level I couldn’t have imagined. From the layout to the choice of materials and finishes, everything was flawless. Chris was communicative throughout the entire process, making sure I was updated on progress and addressing any questions or concerns promptly. His craftsmanship and dedication to quality truly set him apart. Thanks to Chris, I now have the kitchen of my dreams—a space that is as beautiful as it is practical. I couldn’t be happier and would wholeheartedly recommend CH Design to anyone looking for a designer who delivers excellence. Thank you, Chris!

Chris helped lead a fairly big renovation for us where we did the following: - Changed flooring for the entire home - Redo all closets - Change AC vents - Change front door - Change hardware on all interior doors - Install a new deck with a fire pit This was our first time doing a renovation and we thought Chris was a great general contractor for us as he is very knowledgeable and has an opinion for what to do. Other contractors we spoke to seemed to generally not have much of an opinion so we found it difficult to decide on things with others. With Chris, things also moved forward efficiently and his crew worked fast and stayed on track. We've heard from friends of ours where renovations can take longer than expected and this wasn't the case with Chris. Chris is also readily available to answer questions we have or to address issues that have come up after the renovation was done. We really appreciate this as sometimes contractors can be hard to reach. I would recommend Chris as we had a positive experience with him.

Chris is very nice. However, I am not sure what went wrong with our project and why he was unable to hit our milestones or complete our project, even when we stretched ourselves to issue advance payments to keep the project moving. Unfortunately, we had pretty massive issues with communication on Chris’ part, which led to major safety hazards, re-ordering, and work needing to be redone due to errors or sloppy quality. There was lots of pressure to approve work that was unacceptable. I was surprised Chris would even show us some of the work based on how he presented his attention to detail, custom work, and trade relationships at project kickoff. The quality of the work and trades varied massively, leading to lots of improper work that Chris could not resolve with his trades. I was forced to double pay for labor and materials on items. I regret not knowing more about who was working in our home. Despite Chris promising us no one smoked on his crew, we walked in multiple times to find our home filled with cigarette smoke, and my front yard was left full of cigarette butts. Food was constantly left in trash outside, attracting rodents and creating bigger messes. Many finishes were installed damaged or broken. Not to mention the amount of damages and lazy work I have discovered since. When relying on Chris as an interior designer, we were shocked as custom work suggested, designed and sourced by Chris, ballooned the budget even after design and materials were set and ordered. After ballooning the budget, we felt frequently disappointed in the quality of custom work done vs what Chris showed as examples and promised to us. It was strange, he would walk us through nice showrooms and point out errors and complain about quality but when it came to our project he would blame the materials he selected but not the trades he selected or the designs he made. We felt pressured to approve unacceptable quality of work often. We had expected Chris and his trades to be more knowledgeable and attentive to our project than what we received. My weekly walks felt pointless when I would regularly find trades installing mistakes and damaging property. I would recommend sticking to your milestones, making sure every line item is attached to a milestone for payment, and vetting the trades he brings in to ensure they are qualified. I would also recommend sticking to one room at a time. Good luck!
