We had a pretty wild ride with this company, but amazing results. Their communication was pretty good, and they got us a quote very quickly. We were given a rough timeline of 2.5 months, but the installation date continued to be pushed back. After a total of 10 months, we finally got it installed. The results are impeccable, a truly perfect custom piece for our kitchen/dining room area. The installation team was great, and they even came out a week later to adjust the level per our request. Overall the timeline for us was a very long grueling wait but the results were very much worth it.

Roger was amazing to work with! He is prompt with his communication and keeps you updated throughout the project. I needed custom table legs made for a vintage 1970s table top I had acquired and really didn't know what I was in for. Roger's pricing was fair, professional, and he stayed on track with how long the project was expected to take. This review is long overdue because I've been enjoying my table ever since he delivered it back to me in December. Roger is a 10/10!

Form + Function did a fantastic job creating a custom table base for me! I ordered a resin koi pond coffee table off Etsy and the slab I received was beautiful. I had asked for legs to be included with the table and unfortunately the original artist neglected to install any hardware or indicate optimal placement of the legs. The way the tabletop was designed was asymmetrical and drilling into the resin would ruin the beautiful design. In comes Form + Function to save the day! Roger and the craftspeople worked with me to narrow down a design that would allow the slab to rest in it without any hardware as well as match my other furniture. They provided several rough drawings and I selected one. Further I was able to ask for some modifications once the design had been fleshed out with measurements. They exceeded my expectations and even filled the wood joints prior to lacquer and paint, giving the piece a sleek look with no visible joining. The piece was elegant and simple. They were able to finish the whole thing and deliver it to my home in about 4 weeks! I’m so happy with the way it came out. The opposite of how it felt to receive a large beautiful tabletop and not be able to use it at all. Excellent work!

Impeccable work!!! We needed custom cushions for our new bench and after reading all the great reviews we decided to go with Form & Function. Roger was quick to reply to us reaching out and we were able to tell him exactly what we wanted. And he delivered! We also went to his shop for a meeting and got to see all the other pieces they are working on. Like an old work table they were using for a bathroom vanity. He came out and took exact measurements and when they arrived they fit perfectly. Very happy with the end product.

I had had a unique loft-closet project in mind for a while and must have contacted close to a dozen furniture builders before I found Form & Function - the only builder that confidently said they could build it. It took a while, but I wound up with a very fine piece of furniture that is exactly what I wanted. Terrific. Roger stayed in contact throughout the process. He and Miguel (an expert wood builder) gave me a few design suggestions that unquestionably improved the overall design and function. I unhesitatingly recommend Form & Function. They are the real deal and I will definitely use their services again.
