David of David Michael Designs is an AMAZING designer. He is passionate about his work and is an extremely easy going person and professional (a HUGE plus!!). When working with David, he brings so much knowledge and experience, and can whip up a design onto the 3D rendition after his onsite visit with the homeowner -- It's like magic how he transforms your ideas into a virtual design!! David is always open to changes or suggestions/preferences (even as small as a change in the color scheme). He can easily adapt to the customer's needs, fabulous with following through, and meets his deadlines and stays within budget. I've leveraged David beyond his designer skillset. For example, he has a LOT of connections with contractors, cabinet makers, structural engineers, etc. and every referral professional that I've spoken to, they ALL trust his work and thoroughly appreciate his professionalism. There's not enough I can say about such a talented and trust worthy professional like David -- he has a certain "JE NE SAIS QUOI" about him. Thank you David!!

We loved working with David (and Brewster) at David Michael Designs! We tackled an enormous project, almost an entire rebuild, expanding our footprint and adding a second floor. Dave quickly caught our vision, all while offering cost effective design options to fit our budget. Dave was extremely easy to communicate with and highly responsive. The 3D renderings were immensely useful in making design tweaks as we visually “walked through” our new home, changes we never could have sensed to make from a blueprint. Dave was not only an essential guide through the design process, but with a background in construction he was very helpful with advice on next steps, working with the city for permits, etc. Our engineer also noted that Dave was a “total pro,” and seamless to work with. It’s been 5 years since we completed the project, the house is beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier with it. We never hesitate to recommend David Michael Designs! As a result, many friends have happily worked with Dave on their own projects, all with wonderful results. We expected that, but never anticipated how accustomed we would become to strangers knocking on our door, telling us they absolutely love our home, and asking for the name of our architect! Well done, Dave!

We recently completed a small home addition on the front of our house to create a dedicated laundry space, gain a more functional entryway, and add a porch. We met with a few architects and designers before deciding to go with Dave. He really listened to what our goals were and balanced giving us what we wanted in the design but also being honest when he had an alternative idea that might work better. The design process was fast and easy. It took about a month to get an initial design then about a week to make some adjustments until we settled on a final plan. Dave gave us floor plans, drawings, and a 3D design which helped us visualize the project. He also met with us to talk through changes so we could see what they would look like before making any final decisions. The other designers we interviewed only included one or two revisions in their bids. Being new to this process, we weren't sure how many revisions we would want and Dave's promise was that he would work with us until we were 100% happy which gave us peace of mind. He wasn't our lowest bid but I think we got the best value from him. Now that we are on the other side of our project, our house is just as designed and we are so happy with the result. And Dave's design helped us to navigate some misunderstandings with our contractor without added costs. I'd recommend him to anyone and we definitely plan to use him again for any future projects!

We are thrilled with our new kitchen!David did an amazing job with the design. He worked quickly and was very patient with all the changes I made. I highly recommend him to anyone planning a remodel project!

True Story: I was interviewing architects for a remodel project and met with David's team first. It was simple, straight forward, helpful, and frictionless. The next day I met with another architect and the whole time I was thinking how much I missed David's team because it was the opposite experience. I quickly signed up with David and he was super helpful, fast, responsive, and quick to help us work through ideas. As a bonus, when we started talking to contractors and other professionals, many were aware of David's reputation and happy to hear we had chosen him. Great value, great service, and just overall great people.
