My husband and I had a great experience at Walk Your Plans. We are rebuilding our home after a total loss from the Eaton Fire and being able to walk our floorplan options with our builders to make tweaks i real time before doing heavy architectural work was so valuable to us. We could see our home in real size and notice things that didn't flow quite right ahead of time. The staff, Jared and Danny, were both so kind, supportive, and helpful. Their showroom is so nice and also beautifully designed, leaving us with more than our floorplan but also great kitchen inspiration. We would highly recommend this service to anyone who isn't sure which direction they want to take with their floorplan, someone who needs to visualize a space, or to those looking to create a cohesive plan on the first go around instead of having to go through multiple change orders.

Walk Your Plans is extremely helpful for the entire design team and especially for clients or for anyone who has difficulty reading drawings. They project full scale drawings of your design onto the floor and walls, which can then be explored and discussed in ways that are much more helpful than simply reviewing drawings on paper. Many people have trouble reading plans and this helps bridge the gap between the 2D drawings and 3D renders/visualization. It's a great step towards the holodeck! Recommend preparing a special set of 'cleaned up' drawings to remove unnecessary notes/annotations to keep it clear. It's literally a projection of whatever you provide for them and it's strange at first seeing everything so large. The staff was very easy to work with before and during our visits, and super helpful. It's a comfortable environment with plenty of parking. Also a fantastic event space.

My team of designers (architects and landscape architects) walked our client through their house plans today. It was everyone's first time and we found it incredibly valuable. We got to make design adjustments based on the full scale floor plans and landscape. Danny from WYP carefully panned the plans around and he put our design renderings on the walls which really helped everyone visualize the future garden and home. Our house is 43' wide and we just fit it within the space - so we only had to pan the length of the house. There's a conference room, and a mobile touchscreen monitor. We ended up sitting in the kitchen to review some other drawings later. Tip: We're only human, so visual information maxed out at 3 hrs. Danny, our WYP director, was GREAT!

We're rebuilding our Palisades home, and our experience at Walk Your Plans LA (WYPLA) was much better than we had expected. With our floor plans in life-size, we were able to make wall-moving decisions that would have otherwise not occurred to us and would have cost us more downstream than our fee to WYPLA. We were joined by our Architect, our adult children (who had grown up in the house), and our Designer (by Zoom) and we were able to address all of our practical size-related concerns. It was really helpful.
