Coastal Moving Systems did an outstanding job moving us from Encinitas to Carlsbad. The crew arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and handled everything with care. They packed, loaded, and moved all our items correctly with zero damage. Every box and piece of furniture was placed exactly where we wanted in the new house. The entire move was efficient, organized, and stress-free. You can tell they know what they’re doing and take pride in their work. Highly recommend Coastal Moving Systems for anyone who wants a smooth, professional move.

If you want to be screwed over with bait and switch tactics, have your belongings and home damaged to the tune of thousands if dollars, deal with movers wearing black socks and sandals, Coastal Moving Systems is your go to. Absolute nightmare I will never forget. So bad that the movers specifically asked me to not leave a review.

This service was great, but the company is AWFUL! We are moving over 2400 miles and we are combining a small condo and a 1500 square foot house together they quoted us 13k dollars to come in to an ALREADY FULLY packed house and just had to move everything to the new house and build the beds and stuff. My mom talked on the phone with an agent and wrote the precise number of boxes and bulk items she even counted the stairs in our house and the condo, since this is a cross country move 13k was great. As they started packing our stuff they told us they had no idea we had a condo that needed to be packed (even though it was in the contract) and it was going to be 19k dollars! Thats a 6k dollar raise for 17 stairs and boxes that are already packed and ready to just be taken to the truck. So this company sucks. however the men that our actually doing the packing are fantastic since none of this is their fault. They are wrapping and moving stuff with care.

Sadly, I too received a low initial quote that dramatically increased upon pickup, with dispatcher explaining this is standard for the industry. Bait with low quote that does not represent the sq ft you will be charged. You are held hostage by the deposit to 3rd party contractor. Sure, we are humans and making a bad quote would be understandable occasionally. But industry standard practice is what dispatcher told me does not make for good business. Watch out! I don't recommend this company or its affiliates.

I recently hired Coastal Moving for my relocation within San Diego, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. From beginning to end, my interactions with the workers were positive. They really showed out with their attentiveness to detail and handling my belongings with care. They ensured everything was packed securely and arrived in perfect condition. The movers let me rest assured that they would work efficiently, and boy they sure did! I highly recommend Coastal Moving to anyone in need of professional moving services in the San Diego area.
