My experience with JT Legal Group was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. Communication was terrible. It was almost impossible to get someone to answer the phone, and when I did, the staff was sometimes rude and made me feel like I was bothering them for asking about my own case. Trying to speak with attorney Jesus was nearly impossible. Calls and messages often went unanswered, and getting updates required constant follow-up. As a client, I expected much better communication and professionalism. I was also very disappointed with my settlement. After all the fees and deductions, I felt like the firm took a significant portion, and I wasn’t given enough explanation about how everything was calculated. The entire process left me feeling misled and unsupported. What concerns me the most is that clients who don’t speak English well or who aren’t familiar with the legal system may have an even harder time understanding what’s happening with their case. In my opinion, the firm should do much more to ensure every client clearly understands their rights, the legal process, and the financial outcome of their case. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend JT Legal Group. If you’re looking for a law firm that communicates consistently and keeps you informed, I would suggest looking elsewhere. It’s been a while since this law firm handled my case, but I would not recommend them based on my experience. What disappointed me most was how the settlement funds were divided. It felt like the attorney received a significantly larger portion than expected, while the doctor and client received much less. The firm advertised a 35% fee, but once the case went beyond 90 days, additional fees and percentages were applied. By the time the settlement was finalized, the deductions were far more than I anticipated. Looking back, I wish I had never called them. Another issue that left a bad impression was being asked to leave a 5-star review in exchange for having my settlement check overnighted. That felt inappropriate and unprofessional. I normally would not have written this review, but after working with other attorneys and law firms, I realized that fairer arrangements do exist. I’ve had recent experiences where cases went well beyond 90 days, yet the client still received over 50% of the settlement. My advice is simple: do your research carefully before signing any agreement. Make sure you fully understand how fees, costs, and settlement distributions will be calculated before moving forward.

Beware of this business… after receiving 9,600 payout for an accident and everyone got their cut, I only received $150. I’m not sure who’s writing these positive reviews but this is an honest review. After all the appts, time, gas, this was a waste of my time. Please be cautious I wouldn’t wish this outcome on my worst enemies. What a huge disappointment. Be careful out there.
