These people are THIEVES!! My husband's Grandmother obtained their services to help her move her belongings out of her home and into 3 of their storage pods. When they moved her out they charged per trip and instead of filling up the truck to it's capacity, they made sure to only fill the truck with a few things at a time so they can charge her for multiple trips. Months later she asked her Grandson (my husband) to drive up to San Diego from out of state to take all her belongings out of the 3 pods. On 7-26-2025 my husband had a set appointment in the morning to get into the pods to retrieve her belongings, an appointment that our Grandmother made a week before so they had plenty of time to have her pods ready, but instead they gave my husband stuff from only 1 pod. When he asked for his Grandmother's remaining 2 pods the guy had no idea where they were at. I spoke to the owner Dylan that morning before 3 of his movers met my husband at the location. I advised Dylan that my husband had 2 people with him to help him and asked what time they close and how much time my husband has and Dylan said he has all the time he needs and failed to mention that the movers have to take everything out of the pod. The movers also failed to mention it not til after they were done, and wanted to charge him $340 for just taking out about 13 things out of the pod. Also the movers rushed my husband out of there and was given only 1 pod. Our Grandmother paid til the end of August and they owe her $200 for August. That same day I repeatedly called Dylan to find out where the rest of our Grandmother's belongings are and to have a resolution but he conveniently turned his phone off. One of the mover's Alex called his mother because it was of urgency because my husband had to leave San Diego the next day, only to find out she does not care about the business or their customers her response was that her other son was in town. She could have asked someone else to step in and help us resolve this problem, but I think they know that our Grandmother's stuff is gone and they don't know what to tell us or how to resolve this so they rather ignore my voicemails that I continuously have left. Our Grandmother relied on them for their services and they took complete advantage of her!! On the Better Business Bureau there is a complaint of them losing some belongings of another customer. These people are THIEVES, and unprofessional! I will be reaching out to my legal plan for an attorney.

This is the best moving company I have ever worked with. They accommodated all of our extra requests when moving my parents in to a senior living community. They were super careful with all of my parents' belongings and set everything back up with such special care and thought at the new place. They were friendly and engaging and very respectful, not to mention capable. I world very highly recommend Local Motion movers. Thank you so much for your great service.

This is a mover I’d refer to anyone. What a great crew. Professional, patient, kind, helpful, supportive made me feel so good about the whole process. I haven’t had good experiences in the past with other moving companies and I told them this they knew I had moving ptsd and handled my move so kindly and easily. I believe this is their standard practice not just for a high maintenance customer as myself. They never once made me feel like I was high maintenance but I know I was. Thank you to them and their 5 star crew of hard working men!

I can’t speak highly enough about the wonderful experience I had with my move from casa de Manana in La Jolla to my new apartment in Arizona. Lincoln came and looked at what I had to move. He was very professional and put my mind at ease about using their company. Actually, I used them to move from one apartment to another at Casa. They were great then too. Moving day went with ease. Move in day was very hot but Dylan and his helper (I’m sorry I forgot his name) were amazing at getting everything in and in place quickly. It was 100% perfect. I recommend this company.

Excellent service. Would give 10 stars if I could. Have used them three times now. They are on time, careful, smart, strong, polite and handsome and honest honest honest!!! Used this company several years ago to move us; they move everything you own- even heavy potted plants included!! They moved our very heavy stuff up two flights of stairs on time and carefully for an amazingly inexpensive price. We called them again about a year ago to move out some old couches, also down two flights of stairs. They came the same day, same experience, low cost. Today, when we were stuck with a new stackable dryer delivery the seller said they would not install (stack), even though the dryer was an identical replacement, we called Local Motion who came out almost immediately and lifted the dryer in place, for no charge!!!! Wow. Do not hesitate to use these guys, they are great!!! And Veterans too😊😊 Very happy customers
