I specifically requested a tax projection to help determine when to take distributions from a retirement account while minimizing the tax impact. I provided all requested information within one week of the initial consultation. Over the next three months, I received three different versions of the work. None addressed the projection I had requested; instead, they appeared to be draft tax returns. Each version also omitted important information I had already provided, and I never received clear advice on the question I originally asked. After three months, I ultimately gave up. Unfortunately, I did not receive the service or analysis I paid for.
