It has been such a joy to work with Ammie. After trying to reach out to several interior designers to help with the design of our business, I found Ammie on yelp, and within hours she contacted me. Since our first communication, Ammie answers phone calls and emails in a timely fashion and made herself available for several meetings to answer any questions and guide our choices. She understood our inspiration and vision for our business and was able to pull all of the right things together. She has been helping us through our new business build and available to continue to help until the end of construction and beyond. She has done that in a very detailed and professional way. We couldn't be more pleased and we would highly recommend Ammie!

Ammie is an amazing designer! Her designs, flexibility, and attention to detail truly stand out — absolutely 5 stars! Here’s why: • Highly detailed design presentations Every room included exact dimensions, which made renovation planning so much easier. I had tried several AI tools before, but without accurate measurements, they weren’t very helpful. Her precision made a huge difference. • Flexible options for every budget She provided multiple options (low, mid, and high-end), which helped me visualize different directions while staying within my budget. • Great collaboration & support My ideas changed quite a bit during the process, and I requested several updates after the initial design. She was patient, supportive, and always improved my ideas with thoughtful suggestions. • Very responsive She replied quickly whenever I had questions or needed advice, which made everything smooth and stress-free. • Cost-efficient & transparent pricing Her pricing is clear, and she delivers excellent value for the quality of work. Overall: If you’re detail-oriented, have a specific vision (or even if you’re still figuring it out), and want someone who can work within your budget, I highly recommend Ammie!

I am so thankful I found Ammie Kim Interior Design! We needed to give our 20 year old house a facelift and transition from Craftsman-ish to a more current and cohesive traditional design. Ammie was so responsive to my Yelp inquiry and within 3 weeks, I had a finished PDF presentation at what I thought was a very reasonable and fair design fee. She was not intimidating at all and listened to my desires. After the presentation, as I consulted and planned with my contractor she answered every question I had immediately, and continues to do so as we near the start of the project She gave me a few suggestions that I decided not to follow… at first. She was not upset but insisted what I wanted was the most important. But I ended up with her recommendations in the end! She was so great in explaining her choices with the design elements (and rules) to back it up. She was very patient with me as I slowly let go of my faux Craftsman house. I am so excited to see the finished product! I saved so much time compared to my first experience in choosing paint and flooring and finishes. Her paint suggestions were so beautiful and classy. It’s so hard for me to choose paint that I am certain will look rich and beautiful on the wall. After getting some sample paint, I chose all my colors from her suggestions, and I followed her guidelines on wood tones for our flooring. Her tile choice was spot on and coordinated with the paint choice perfectly. I tried to find the same tile at other tile stores and couldn’t get the right tone. When I decided later to replace the tile on our fireplace, I had a tile ordered within 5 days of asking her to help me choose a tile. And she got me a discount! We are going to be starting our project less than 2 months after I first met with Ammie, mostly due to her helping me pick everything! Don’t hesitate to hire Ammie. You will save so much time and aggravation and money!

After more than 10-years of searching for the right designer for our Newport Beach residence, we were fortunate to find Ammie. Her attention to detail, work ethic, and strong relationships with top local and regional furniture partners immediately stood out. Because we do not live in Newport Beach year-round, our time on the ground was limited. Ammie was exceptionally effective at making progress when we were in town and communicating clearly and proactively when we were overseas—an essential factor in keeping the project moving. What truly differentiates Ammie is her ability to quickly understand our taste and translate it into decisive, spot-on selections. There was no wasted time, and we completed the entire remodel in a remarkably short timeframe without compromising quality. Ammie respected our time, understood our needs, and remained disciplined with our budget throughout. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to remodel or elevate their home. Job well done. Working with Ammie was an absolutely amazing experience! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond with her creativity, vision, and impeccable sense of design. Every idea she brought to the table felt like it was made just for us—thoughtful, elegant, and perfectly aligned with our lifestyle. My husband and I had been planning to downsize now that our kids are grown and we’re traveling more often. We wanted our new condominium to reflect the modern, sophisticated style of the beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in around the world. The moment we shared that with Ammie, she immediately understood our vision and brought it to life in the most stunning way. From the flooring and porcelain tiles to the quartz countertops, cabinetry, and every single plumbing fixture—there isn’t a single detail we don’t love. Now that everything is complete, we’re beyond excited to move in and start this new chapter. We can’t recommend Ammie enough. Her talent, professionalism, and passion shine through in everything she does. If you’re looking for someone who truly gets it—Ammie is the one!
