As a 1st time homeowner, I cannot tell you how helpful Maximo was throughout the whole process that I have to share it. I met with many architects to discuss a new-build project and out of everyone I met, and spoke with, he was hands down the BEST. He was able to take my vision and put it on paper while addressing all the needed legalities/ setbacks/change/etc that the city and county require. I always felt that I was given the proper status updates and as well as any changes to our design so as to keep the project moving forward and on track. I never felt like I was left out of any pertinent information and always felt like I could talk to Maximo about anything | didn't like or wanted changed. I highly recommend Studio Borkosky Design, and especially Maximo, for anyone is looking to have an stress-free, well-informed and timely experience with any addition/new-build/design for your home!! I plan to work with Studio Borkosky Design for any and all improvements to my home.

Maximo and his team are consummate professionals. Maximo himself is a very talented architect and provides simple solutions to complex design challenges. I have used him for my last 3 construction projects and cannot wait to use him for all of my future work!

Professional. Goal-Focused. Friendly. From the beginning it was a pleasure to work with Max! He collected and solved all of our project goals and concerns building our ADU. He understands the San Diego city development system and helps you meet your project goals throughout the journey!

From La Vista Memorial Park and Mortuary I am a local business cemetery and mortuary owner in the County of San Diego and I have worked with Maximo Borkosky on several projects. He has helped us with several different projects including the design of our crematory. He works in a timely manner, is a great communicator and is very professional and responsible. He saw the project through from the beginning to the end, securing approvals from the local jurisdictions. I highly recommend using his services.

Max worked diligently on a residential ADU project for my company, Villalobos Investment Co. Inc from beginning to end. He kept me in the loop at all times on a process that was lengthy despite his best efforts. I would definitely work with Max again..
