Where is the negative star. Carol did my sole proprietor taxes in 2020. I had an issue over a year later with the IRS because she failed to include my schedule C - the most important form in a business filing. She also did something else which resulted in me paying $4,000 after correction. Now, in 2025, I'm being contacted by the Franchise Tax Board because she didn't include Form 568 and I have to refile these taxes. She was voted "Best in La Mesa," years ago which led me to her but it was an expensive mistake having her do my taxes. I hate giving negative reviews, but please consider someone else. I don't think she keeps up with the tax laws and ultimately, its your responsibility that these are filed correctly. Her name is Carol Tolosko so beware of the business name change.

Carol has cost us hundreds of dollars and and a ridiculous amount of headaches. I would not recommend her for doing taxes beyond anything you can do on TurboTax. I’ve had to pay penalties, back taxes and interest to both California and Colorado because she incorrectly filed our taxes for these states. When I reached out to try to get her to remedy this, I received no call back. Very unprofessional.

Carol is a tax wizard. Highly recommended.
