The very best decision my husband and I made was hiring Jeannette Architects for my whole home remodel. We worked directly with the very talented and creative duo Jeff Jeannette and Stefanie Haering. They helped us discover all of the potential our home had to give and provided many options to create space and functionality that we had not considered. From start to finish, Jeannette Architects listened to us and provided suggestions and plans that reflected our best hopes and needs. I always felt informed and respected. Our project moved forward throughly and quickly, especially considering the technical work that was required to rebuild every aspect of my home. My husband and I are so grateful that Stefanie and Jeff helped us throughout the entire project and even all through construction. I felt supported, I could always ask questions and get accurate, timely answers on even the smallest details. Jeannette would routinely check in on us as the work progressed and celebrated with us on the day we got to move back in. Jeannette Architects designed a beautiful home organized for utility. They created a new floor plan that flows elegantly, is functional and spacious for the homeowners with a sophistication that welcomes friends and family. They were extremely creative with a window plan that maximized the outdoor and indoor symmetry and welcomed natural light throughout my home. Stefanie was an absolute genius in how she found room in my floor plan to expand the primary bath. She added features like a wet room, which allows me to live like a spa queen. I have already recommended them to friends and family. Because of Jeannette Architects, our home is reborn for longevity, enjoyment and to preserve as a family asset.

We had a good experience with Jeannette Architects and a great experience when we were working directly with Jeff. The only reason the rating is 4/5 stars is that our initial project manager underperformed and Jeff and a more senior person had to rescue us. They did so happily and we ended up with a great outcome. We relied on Jeannette's experience with contractors to guide bidding and GC selection. Jeff checked-in regularly throughout construction and we would work with him and the firm again without hesitation.

We used Jeff when he first started out about 13 years ago. We really liked his work and style so we called again for our phase 2 (kitchen and living space). He and his team were really good at listening to our needs and making recommendations based on their knowledge. We are really happy with the outcome.

We hired Jeff and his team to design a complete remodel of our home in Seal Beach. Our initial consultation was with Jeff on site and walked the property and he gave us a run down of the process. Unlike most architects Jeff will give you a detailed breakdown of the entire timeline from conception to plan completion as well as transparent pricing. Throughout the design process which took approximately 11 months we met multiple times and working together were able to design our custom home. Additionally out project manager Laura was extremely responsive and helped troubleshoot any problems that arose. We were able to get city approval without too much difficulty and they were available throughout construction as needed. Overall we are extremely happy with the finished product and would recommend Jeanette Architects for any remodel or custom home project.

This is a long overdue review for Jeannette Architects, who 10 years ago completely redesigned our craftsman bungalow in Long Beach (Belmont Heights). During the 7-month project, we had one baby in diapers and another one on the way...probably not the best time to do a whole-house remodel. We charged ahead anyway. And even though there were stressful moments, those moments were always moderated by the calm stewardship of Jeff, his wife and business partner Roberta, and the rest of the Jeannette team. They knew what they were doing, and we clearly understood we were in good hands. The positive impression developed quickly, in our first meeting with Jeff, when he carefully listened to our thoughts and then sketched several design options he thought would work for us. These on-the-spot sketches were super detailed and creative, and one of them ultimately served as the basis for our remodel. To us, what makes Jeff so good at what he does is that he is an excellent communicator as well as a great architect. As a result, he is able to talk to you, pull from your words an optimal project vision, and then carefully put that vision into an official plan. Jeff and the rest of Jeannette Architects gave us a house that we love, and for that we are eternally grateful. We are not alone in these feelings; most of our neighbors who have renovated their homes have used Jeannette Architects, and all of them, like us, sing loudly their praise. I can't recommend more highly this company.
