As someone who tends to overthink big decisions, I can honestly say I don’t regret this decision for a second, and Mark played a huge part in making that possible. I don’t hand out recommendations lightly, especially when it comes to something as significant as buying a home. But if you’re looking for someone who is honest, grounded, and great at what he does, I recommend Mark without hesitation. From our experience, he’s only respected our decisions, advocated for us, and never lost sight of what mattered most to us. And if/when the day comes that we want to sell our first home or buy another property--- perhaps in Palm Springs ;) --- we could only wish we’d be so lucky enough to work with Mark Grimes again.

Ricardo was great as an agent. He has a very pleasant, not pushy, knowledgeable, and resourceful approach to the home-buying process. The Local specializes in Northeast LA which was very helpful. At various stages he weighed in with his own perspective on issues and value of various homes that we looked at, rather than just asking us if we thought it was "worth it". He had many great contacts we were able to utilize during the inspection contingency, including an architect, foundation repair, as well as the typical sewer, termite, general inspection. Being able to bring in some of these resources on a very short timeline gave us enough information to assess the property properly and ultimately negotiate a significant reduction, all while feeling no pressure and completely open to walking away.

I had a fantastic experience working with Local, Eugene and his team including Shelby. We closed above asking which is obviously great but the team at Local truly work as one unit from initial wall thru, social media, great photography, help with vendors and staging everything was managed with care and efficiency.
