The guy who work your name is Trent Bae he showed up to my job and tried to tell me to buy an apartment to get my daughter back little did he know that behind my back he was giving my daughter away to DCFS custody and he kept on investigating me this office is really fake because they try and act like they're your friend when really they're just collecting your information

I’m disgusted with this Department, how do you let someone’s grandchild get adopted when one set of grandparents have been trying to get in touch to have communications with their grandchildren and the other set of grandparents visits once a month(both sets) live in another state and the child’s mother had past away and her parents wanted to seek custody and you don’t allow it instead you let her foster mother keep her and now we find out that the adoption is in progress and still no information was provided to any family. Isn’t family supposed to come first

They should honestly be ashamed that their focus is to remove children from their homes to place them in unfamiliar and unsafe environments (the majority of the time) rather than providing the family/parents with resources to so they can thrive as a family unit. I left California because I was fed up of them threatening over the slightest things. At one point, I switched my son from medí-cal provided therapist who had an attitude to a Kaiser one, whom I had to pay $500 monthly insurance for. Somehow this qualified as neglect. Another time, took my son to the ER & apparently he was too skinny (this was while he was 13 & going through a growth spurt). He wasn’t malnourished, just thin. Another due to tardies (I worked early & he’d leave after me). I grew up with friends who ended up homeless and/or in gangs because they were placed in foster care and their lives forever flipped upside down. I do not know a single person who grew up in the system and turned out well & successful. One friend’s mom turned to alcoholism after losing her kids and just recently passed away from it. DCFS should be ashamed they care more about making a profit than the wellbeing of children. Yet somehow they fail to save the kids who need to be saved.

I do not have a personal experience on this place but I have to say after watching once again the series of Gabriel Fernandez it’s sad to see that this place still remains open. Anyone who works here should be ashamed and embarrassed of yourselves how could you let down a little boy an innocent little boy at that. & not just Gabriel but Anthony too? Why can’t people do their job right and stop failing on these little kids who are suffering in the hands of their own blood. I wish this place closes for good.

I just wanted to thank los angeles dcfs. Thank you la dcfs, as much as people complain and I can complain, well done and I thank god los angeles dcfs saved my daughter and me from not loosing each other. if you care so much about child safety can't you care a little more about your review? you have children that don't belong to you and parents are worried, can you not at least get a 4 or 5 star to show you really do care about children, I find it hard to belive if dcfs did everything to ensure safety that hey would have a 1.6 star rating. please help everyone by increasing your stars to a 5 star review. Thank you and I am forever greatful. This dcfs office helped me contact my social workers manager in Pasadena and find my daughter out in Santa Maria and bring her to see me according to court order in Ventura county. The visit helped get her off infant formula onto toddler formula now thumb sucking and switching to regular drinking cup. This visit was so valuable for her health and well being milestones for her age. Dcfs is a good company when parents feel safe, please help us parents feel more safe and not worry so much the way dcfs los angeles helped me get a hold of my visitation rights court ordered. Thank you for not letting me worry to death.
