Talk about a deceitful business practice ... In the past 2 weeks I've received THREE pieces of mail addressed to my business from the unscrupulous Law Offices of Thomas F. Nowland with 'LEGAL NOTICE ENCLOSED OPEN AT ONCE" stamped in LARGE RED LETTERS. I called to be removed from their sucker list after the 2nd duplicate letter arrived. The 3rd one simply has me furious and intent on making this deceitful law office as miserable as they continue to make me with their poorly disguised solicitations. The first one had my heart racing, wondering what I'd done to make one of my clients so unhappy that they retained an attorney, but of course I've never heard of the person named in the 'case details'. Nowland's office even went so far as to post a case number. Finally, I see the "legal solicitation" disclaimer at the very bottom of the letter ... yes the same one that stated in the opening paragraph that they "believe that a lawsuit MIGHT (my caps) have been filed against your (my) company." At this point it is safe to assume I would never use Nowland's unethical law firm; not even if it was my very last option.

Ill tell you what, this firm isn't afraid of a fight when it needs to happen, but they are also very good at being aware of what fights need fighting and what others need cooperation. Overall, the judge always loved us and almost always granted in our favor. I don't think that was on accident. The more I think back, the more I realize that this firm did quite a bit of work behind the curtain that paid off later in the case.

If they are assigned to your business, you shall not worry about a thing. Nowland Law’s legal staff made me feel informed, comfortable and defended!
