I hired Paul Lee to file my individual taxes for 2024. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the quality of his services and don't recommend him, primarily because of his tardiness. Paul took two months to work on my filing from start to finish - from Aug to Oct 2025. This was an unusally long time considering my circumstances, which are not excessively complicated. I believe Paul prefers to communicate via email since he does not usually answer his phone. This is fine, but the problem is that he is also not responsive over email. Often, he did not respond for several business days, and I had to email him multiple times to get a response. This is simply unacceptable professional behavior. The worst part of my experience is that he did not start work on my filing until the last week before the deadline, even though my documents were available since well before the deadline. It left very little time to make edits. We ended up filing late, which cost me over $1.5k in penalties with CA state.

Paul Lee has been our tax preparer for our whole family for the last 30 years . Mr Lee is extremely knowledgeable of the complicated tax codes that we have in this country. Also, he was an excellent tax advisor for my sibling (US Citizen) that resides in the Pacific Rim . Our family is blessed to be able to have Paul Lee as our CPA ........

Paul has been my CPA since 1986. He is sharp, professional and can come up with excellent solutions. He is simply the best!
