Great experience with FlatRate job & Move #4520953-AR3
Lucky with his crew from HK Relocation Moving . They arrived on time, were very professional, packed everything carefully, and took great care of all my items during my move from TX to TX.
Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. I highly recommend working lucky and his crew ”

I moved across the country and it was a fairly good service for the price but beware they contract your move to different moving companies so the quality of service by movers is not the same. It also makes it somewhat annoying to wait to hear back if any movers can schedule your move. Flatrate also charges you a fee, WHICH IS NOT IN THE CONTRACT, if you aren’t able to move within their specified window.
Overall okay company but I will consider other options for my next move.
UPDATE:
I had to file a claim cause the movers damaged some of my items. It has been 8 months since I've moved and I still have not been reimbursed for damages. The claims department will not update you unless you reach out. They told me my claim would be processed within a period of time but it took much longer. Then they told me they would process my reimbursement but the check was never sent. Their customer service for claims is awful.

My cross-country moving experience was so smooth and made extra special! My 2 movers Cesar and Javi were experts in packing my belongings, efficient, responsive, respectful and kind. Moving can be a stressful experience but I felt well taken care of, heard and guided. My belonging were packed with care. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!

I love FlateRate. Again, an outstanding job moving me. I have used them several times and signed up after working with Lewis at the company and I thought the quote was very fair. The actual movers took great care packing my stuff, they were calm and efficient and nothing was broken when I unpacked. They set up everything that was agreed on in advance, and it was all done in a reasonable amount of time including a stop at storage. Everything was done professionally, and I would highly recommend FlatRate. Based on my previous experience I went with them. They were the only quote I requested from any moving company and then signed with them. I can't say enough about how much appreciate Flat Rate .

DONT MOVE…. With Flat Rate Movers, unless you’re fine with your most valuable belongings being STOLEN. I was so excited about moving into my first home, that was VERY short lived, as the day Flat Rate Moving delivered my things to my new home one of the extremely sketchy movers in a cavalcade of SKETCH went into my closet and stole my first anniversary ring I had in my closet. The most valuable thing I owned was stolen and the person working for Flat Rate ran off with it so fast he left his jacket behind. That was so creepy and violating I get scared every night that he’s going to come back. Now I had to not only pay over 13k for the move and I’ve had to order a full security system with tons of cameras because I don’t even feel safe in my new home plus the near 30k for the ring. I’m basically 50k in the hole because of them.
Not to mention the horrible job, miserable person they hired to drive my things, broken expensive items, and people who were disheveled, disoriented, and showed up randomly to BARELY work. I ended up doing more lifting than half the people who showed up. Some of them showed up on rickety bicycles.
Next to bodily harm or burning my home down this was as bad as it could get. Literally the most expensive thing I owned is gone now because of them. DO NOT HIRE. If I wasn’t a guy I would have been terrified to go through that experience. I’m currently sleeping with a box cutter next to me because I fear that these people know the inside of my home and what I own.
Worst experience of any business I’ve ever had in my life.
