I hired this company based on their 5-star reputation, but our actual experience was a complete nightmare that did not reflect those ratings in the slightest. What should have been a simple, straightforward local move (less than 3 miles for a partially packed 2-bedroom apartment) turned into a 6.5-hour ordeal resulting in broken property, gross inefficiency, and a lost bicycle. Gross Inefficiency: The crew moved at such an unacceptably slow pace that my fiancée and I had to step in and physically carry our own belongings to keep the move going. One mover specifically carried only one or two boxes at a time, refused to use a cart, and almost everytime we saw him he was scrolling on his phone and taking calls while on the clock (I have photos of this). Abandoned Property & Severe Negligence: The worst failure was when the crew left our belongings entirely unattended at the loading dock. Because the truck and our property were left unguarded, a $700+ bicycle assembly went missing while under their care. Our apartment management reviewed the security camera footage, which confirmed the crew left the bicycle sitting completely unattended outside the truck. A police report has been filed regarding the incident. Property Damage & Ignored Instructions: One of the movers repeatedly ignored direct instructions from his own foreman to wrap our furniture. Because of this negligence, he completely broke an expensive marble-top end table. Another mover ignored our explicit instructions by stacking heavy items onto boxes marked "fragile" and continuously applying direct physical pressure to the screen of our 77" OLED TV. Management Response: Instead of taking accountability for the damage and the missing property caused by their unattended truck, management has spent a month now delaying and dragging out their "internal investigation” refusing to provide any date for resolution after initially stating they would get back to us in 48 hours. Our experience was completely counter to the highly rated service we were expecting. If you value your time, your property, and professional service, look elsewhere. Do not trust this company with your belongings.
