Very concerned with the security service provided by Access Control Services at my apartment complex. In my experience, contacting them when there is a disturbance has not resulted in meaningful assistance. I have called to report issues and have had calls disconnected/hung up on, and on multiple occasions security was not sent to respond. What is especially frustrating is that incidents reported to security do not appear to be consistently documented or reported to property management. This makes it difficult for management to understand the frequency and seriousness of the problems residents are reporting. Residents should be able to rely on a security service to answer calls, respond when assistance is requested, and properly document incidents. Instead, I have felt that calling security is ineffective and that residents are left to deal with ongoing disturbances themselves. If Access Control Services is contracted to provide security for a residential community, I would expect them to take residents' concerns seriously, respond appropriately, and communicate incidents to property management.
