Spectrum Store
Santa Clarita, CA
Spectrum Store is listed in the Office Tenant Edge provider directory as a telecom resource for office tenants in Santa Clarita and Los Angeles County — firms leasing space in multi-tenant office buildings.
Why office tenants in Santa Clarita work with telecom providers
Office tenants in multi-tenant buildings deal with a different set of constraints than retailers: building management rules, after-hours access, shared systems, and leases built around operating-expense pass-throughs. Office Tenant Edge lists providers that work with professional-services firms, agencies, and growing teams in leased office space — vendors who can coordinate with property management and keep a workplace running without disrupting the people in it. Members compare providers here and share real experiences with peers in the OTE community.

Very disappointed in my most recent experience with spectrum. I went there to try and look at what I can do in order to lower my bill and was presented with the only option of adding a "phantom mobile line" in order to lock in some promotional rates (keep in mind I only have TV and Internet with spectrum). Which I would then have to come back and cancel that line in 4 months in order to avoid any additional fees on the line itself. Seems like a very shady business practice for people that have been loyal to spectrum for years to jump through hoops.
The representative whose name starts with a "D" and has already seen mentioned on multiple reviews was not empathetic at all and basically told me "if saving $600 a year wasn't important then she couldn't help me". After that she proceeded to tell me I can try to call customer service to see if they could offer anything. Aren't the people who work at this establishment supposed to help their customer, why even bother coming in if you're just going to try and sell me on something I don't need and not address what I'm asking?
Overall left a really bad taste in my mouth and definitely looking at my options outside of spectrum specifically because of the horrible interaction with this staff member.

The store shines like a freshly polished mirror, but the customer service we experienced with Diana felt like a cloudy reflection. She guided us and responded, yet her attitude lingered like a chill in the room. It’s as if every question was a burden rather than an opportunity to help. The service exists, but the warmth is missing, and that contrast is hard to ignore.

Spectrum is the single biggest exploiter in Santa Clarita. From mediocre internet speeds to phone plans that lack basic amenities such as large hotspot data allocation, satellite calling, and more.
Their predatory business model seeks to exploit the elderly and I witnessed that during the 20 minutes I waited in their store to pick up some boxes.
They leased phones to a couple for a premium price and the worse part is that they don't even know they won't own the phones. They are paying to use them and paying a premium.
They are vultures in a world where they are trying very hard to adapt and fit in to the current trends being set by tech giants, and despite being one of the only major providers in Santa Clarita, you'd be wise to steer clear if possible.
Word of advice. Don't get phones through Spectrum. If you do, shop around, others have free phones, discounted prices where you actually own the phones and basically do your homework.
This store has 3 employees. One handling returns and pickups, another being paid to stand around and walk, the other actually getting people to buy phones.
It's ridiculous, but it works on a generation that doesn't really understand how technology works and they see this and are taking advantage of it.
Buyer beware.

Michael was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about spectrum and the products sold there. He lowered my bill while giving me extra services and upgrade my internet speeds. Customer service has greatly improved at this location.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in the United States.
I scheduled an installation appointment with Spectrum and waited three days for the technician to come. I had already updated my address in my Spectrum account the same day I moved. The correct address is clearly shown in the app.
However, Spectrum still sent the technician to my OLD address.
What makes this even worse is that the old address is literally across the street from where I live now. I saw the technician there, walked up to him, and asked if he could simply come to my new address, which is just a few steps away.
He said he couldn’t and called customer service.
The customer service representative on the phone was extremely rude and completely unhelpful. Instead of fixing a simple mistake that was clearly on Spectrum’s side, she blamed me and said I should have opened a completely new account. Then she told me I would need to schedule another appointment and wait several more days.
So after waiting three days already, Spectrum expected me to wait even longer because of THEIR mistake.
This is unacceptable.
No attempt to help.
No attempt to fix the problem.
No accountability.
Just rude customer service and zero respect for customers’ time.
Spectrum completely wasted my time and showed absolutely no interest in solving the problem.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Spectrum to anyone. If you value your time and expect basic customer service, you should seriously consider another provider.
Very disappointing.
