Abandoned on TAX DAY! He not file my taxes after months of back and forth, told me that he would do it 4/15 then bailed THE DAY OFF!!! I trusted him for years and sent him dozens of clients. He repaid that by ignoring me, pushing everything to assistants, and ghosting He left me exposed on the filing deadline with zero warning. That is beyond unprofessional!!!It’s a complete breach of trust. I would never rely on him again and strongly advise others not to either.

I’ve filed taxes with alffy for more than 9 years and introduced dozens of clients to him. This year he half-did my taxes and told me on the LAST DAY(April 15th) that he can’t do my taxes. The same thing has happened to my other friend. He didn’t even answer my calls or emails and asked his assistant to show up instead. Apparently he took clients from his previous partner who passed away. Now he’s too good to do my taxes now. Super unprofessional and unethical. Im done working with him and taking all my referred clients with me. I strongly suggest you think twice if you want a reliable CPA.

I'd love to be writing a good review. We had great experiences for years. Today, filling day, I woke up to an email declining to file our taxes for the year. Beyond unprofessional to decide this on the day filings are due. Something has changed at this firm, and not for the better.

I highly recommend Alffy. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand. As someone in healthcare, taxes and all the small details that come with them can feel daunting. I used to dread tax season, so I really appreciate how clearly he breaks things down and guides me through the process. Back when I first started with him, he was incredibly helpful in identifying and fixing issues that were missed by my previous tax preparer and assisted with amending prior years’ returns, which made a huge difference for me. On top of his expertise, he is kind, respectful, and easy to work with.

I am very disappointed with the service from Alffy. After errors were made on my tax return three years ago, I was left to handle the resulting IRS notices on my own. We couldn’t find out who was to blame for the error, but he still charged me full price to file an amended return. Now, two years later, a 3rd IRS notice has arrived, and Alffy is completely unresponsive. I feel abandoned and would not recommend his services.
