Waited a long time - on hold. The person who answered cut me off immediately when I complained.

Terrible experience. Would recommend getting home or car insurance from anywhere but Mercury. I have had them for 20 years and within recent years they have turned into one of the worst companies out there.

If they’re so busy they can’t approve my claim after three days, maybe they should hire more employees. I haven’t had use of my car for four days total. I called Mr. Ortega only to hear how it’s the process and there’s nothing he can do about it. Waiting on a third party adjuster? That’s ridiculous! I thought this was a reputable, national insurance company.
