Unfortunately, our representative, Dolores Vasquez, did not come through for us at all. She determined that SafeCo would not renew our homeowners insurance policy due to the condition of the roof. We spent money on a roof inspection that showed that the roof was in good condition and that the spots on the Google Earth Image were merely bird droppings and algae (a natural occurrence in a coastal environment). This was not good enough for her however, and she did not want to resubmit the renewal until the roof was cleaned of these minor cosmetic blemishes, a further unnecessary expense. Keeping in mind that this is a fire-resistant metal roof meant to last 50 years, bird droppings and algae, which create no structural risk, are bound to happen again. 2 additional professionals have since confirmed the structural solidity and integrity of the roof. In retrospect, Dolores did not have the education or qualifications to make those determinations herself. She was too lazy to resubmit the insurance renewal with the inspector's report, because she thought she knew better. This caused us get insurance with another company and another representative who is actually willing and eager to work with us.

After over 10 years of a relationship even a courtesy of a phone call is not even offered. After multiple messages they respond an email with a "we cant help you take your business elsewhere.!! "Not even a courtesy of a phone call...

Believe it or not, he cares about his clients and works with them to get the best rates possible, not only by shopping, but by helping you to improve whatever situations you may have that has lead into higher rates.
