I was referred by my bookkeeper to use Elva for the ERTC Tax credit. She had stated that the application was done and I just needed to sign it but every time I tried to move forward and communicate with her, I would get crickets or I felt that I had to keep hounding her for information or to just at least respond to me. She stated that it was very confusing and that she could not get a direct answer from anyone including the IRS especially since there was a lot of fraud. I kept checking in for a status which started in January 2024 - Finally, I was told by Elva that I needed to just go through my payroll company. My concern was that there was a process and an application and basically, she was telling me to start all over with my payroll company. Now I see that I missed the April 2024 deadline to apply. Had she responded to me in a timely manner, I would have made the deadline to apply. If I could give her zero stars I would. This was extremely frustrating and I felt so disrespected and unheard as a customer. If you want to use Em Bookeeping, be prepared to keep chasing them for information and for them to not meet any of your deadlines.
