Deborah is also a pleasure to work with, her demeanor, professionalism and kindness is much appreciated. Thank you Deborah we hope to work with you in our future projects.

We selected Deborah for our Southern California coastal custom home design in 2020. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to listen to our wants and needs in our home and incorporated them into a well thought out floor plan. She worked with the city, our builder, engineers, and designer to incorporate any needed redlines in a timely manner. Her plans are very detailed and many other professionals have praised her work and attention to details. Her extensive knowledge of the city permitting process helped minimize the number of submittals to the city for review, ultimately saving us time and money. I highly recommend Deborah for anyone considering a custom home design.

Deborah created a beautiful design for converting our garage into an ADU. We specifically hired her because of her experience with designing for historic homes. She was very communicative throughout the whole process, always professional, and extremely thorough with her work. In fact, the contractor we used stated that he had never seen plans so thorough in his life! It was because of her excellent work that we received permitting for the ADU from the city without a hitch. I feel lucky to have found Deborah and I would definitely use her for future projects!

I was introduced to Deborah through a friend for a new construction project that we were considering. We were hiring her to work with us on our architectural plans for twin homes in the Cardiff beach community. I have to say, Deborah is such an amazing architect with a very detailed eye. We came in with a wish list of how we wanted this project to turn out and she put together to most amazing plans that not only met my expectations but exceeded them. Her extraordinary suggestions & ideas to maximize the space and usage of the floor plan was appreciated and made it exciting to visualize the possibilities of this home. Deborah's knowledge of the city's permitting & building process was extremely helpful too. She is very educated on the building & planning requirements and created our plans to the inch of what was allowed. Not only am I a client, but I am also a Realtor® and have referred clients to Deborah because I personally know that they are in the best hands when it comes to a building project. I would highly recommend Deborah Shewaga's services. Her guidance, knowledge and vision are definitely top notch. If you are looking for an architect to bring your vision to life, Deborah is your person!

Working with Ideal Design Systems was an excellent experience. Deborah Shewaga integrated creativity into a sound structure. She truly listened, she challenged ideas when appropriate and was completely professional and organized. Her design resulted in a home that reflects our lifestyle where form follows function. I am exceedingly impressed by her work. Deborah is wonderful to work with and has a great sense of humor to boot.
