I’m grateful that there are people who care about educating the next generation of security professionals.

It has been about three months since I’ve acquired my guard card. With some time to reflect, about my experiences regarding my training and how I’ve put what I’ve been taught to use on the job. So far I’m two months strong into my security role, and I feel extremely confident in my abilities to conduct my duties as dictated by my employer. I owe it all to this establishment, Brendan is an incredible instructor that managed to suppress my worries about starting security work, while also giving clear guidance, and instruction on all aspects of security. I even appreciate the fact that, even after taking the exam he outlines what is to be expected following my application being submitted, along with career advice on what to expect when starting out in this field. The finger printing process was seamless, I’m blanking on the name, it was either Cynthia, or Cindy (Sorry!) that then assisted me in setting up my BreEZe account. I can fully say that, what I paid for was well worth. The training that was provided was of a quality I did not expect. I have full intention on acquiring my additional 32 hours of training through this organization, as their services go far beyond than just the initial 8 hours. Baton/OC Spray/First Aid and CPR, all essentials in this type of industry. Crossroad Training, will forever have my loyalty for as long as I intend to work in security.

The training at crossroad provides plenty of information of knowledgeable things to be self awareness of being a security officer. They give you detailed explanation on when your actions are going to be from relax mindset that goes into the next phase when a threat might occur and how to handle the intended situation. The provide all the permits you need in which are the guard card, firearm permit, pepper spray, cpr, the 40 hours training that includes the power to arrest. They have two types of firearm training, either one on one with the instructor at a live shooting range or more simple at the office with the simulator. The baton training is very important on how to handle your weapon to know how to block from the suspect and protect yourself. Any weapon you plan to use of any sort of situation, the instructor will give you details when it's only the right time and appropriate to handle that specific tool of weapon. They accept payment with a debit card machine or you can pay in cash. What's great is they'll call you when it's that time to do your next requals, time to renew permits, help you with the paperwork that goes to bsis to pay the state fees. The employees are very friendly with dedication to get your process started right away if you want to become a security officer. They are located in a plaza inside nearby the far left side of that plaza in which they are not that far away from the metrolink if you plan to get there using public transportation. There's so much knowledge you can learn from the instructor that you might have questions about your past situations and how it could had been handled differently. I highly recommend this school of training. If they have a combo package, I highly suggest you get it in order to get everything done at once, like the finger print background check for the d.o.j. in order to get the guard card and firearm permit as that's going to save you a lot of time. Tell others to go to this training school as I do find it very beneficial in becoming a security officer.

I recommend you go get your guard card or any other security permits you need here. Brenden is a great instructor. I got my guard card here as well as my pepper spray permit. Great staff as well!
