We have absolutely loved working with Matteo on our home remodel and ADU build! He is thorough, creative, professional, organized, friendly, and was great at keeping me on track when I needed it! We can't wait to work with him on all of our projects in the future!

We are SO happy we decided to go with Matteo from Studio Mar Design. He captured the vision of our dream home so perfectly and he was so easy and pleasant to work with, going through some edits we asked, providing thoughtful recommendations and just overall being a pleasure to work with. He was timely, professional and detail oriented which is exactly what you can ask for in the person you are trusting to design your home. 100% recommend! Thanks Matteo!!!

Matteo and Studio Mar did an excellent job designing and drawing up the architectural documents and guiding us through the permitting process through the city of Encinitas. Matteo was able to navigate the permitting process and get our plans through as fast as possible. Matteo has become a good friend through this process. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Matteo's approach is exactly what you want from an architect - Collaborative, attentive, empathetic, yet oozes blue sky thinking. We worked with Matteo on our first family home that we purchased in the US. We changed a fair bit of the structure, and Matteo volunteered amazing concepts as to how we could achieve our dream home, within the confines of the space we had to work with. Not only did Matteo come up with the design, he also helped to manage the day to day challenges that come with renovations - Supply chains, contractors, materials, relationships, permits, delays - In a nutshell, Matteo does it all! We were so impressed with how our first property turned out, that when the opportunity arose to buy another property in the same area, we snapped it up, and trusted Matteo to manage the entire re-design on his own - We weren't even in the country whilst the entire renovation took place, and just knew our investment was in the safest hands. If you're thinking of hiring an architect, look no further!

My husband and I bought our 1st house and we were excited to renovate it into our dream home. We were referred to Matteo by mutual friends. Matteo is the epitome of how the architecture process should be. Matteo is attentive, efficient and excellent at communicating. He helped us create a home that we can raise our family in and create lifelong memories. We would definitely work with Matteo again on any future projects. Thank you Matteo.
