The investment company who purchased my house chose this moving company to pack up my grandparents house and move everything into storage. I had no reason to question their choice since the people I’d dealt with throughout the selling process had gone above and beyond working with me (which had its challenges) from day one. I was told they would be getting started at 10am Saturday. They finally showed up around noon. Th eh got started right away so I worked on getting my room packed and left them to do their job. I made small talk when I’d go outside and found out the owner was one of the three people working and he’s been in business for six years and most of his business was through the investment company. I thought that’s great if they’ve been hiring this guy for six years he must be doing something right. They finished packing up the garage and started packing up the master bedroom before they called it a day. The owner told me they’d be back at 9:30 am Sunday. They showed up after 1pm Sunday down a worker who disappeared from the bar the night before. They still managed to get quite a bit done before they left around I believe 8 pm. Told me they’d had a little bit to finish up in the morning. I couldn’t sleep that night and tried to find my laundry basket so I could do laundry before they showed up Monday morning only to find out it was locked in the moving truck. Then I decided to see just how much was left t for them to pack and boy was I shocked to see they hadn’t touched any of the cabinets but I figured that was part of what they were going to finish up Monday morning. They showed up around 9 or 10 and once they were ready to get started I asked them about everything in the cabinets and other things they hadn’t loaded into the truck and was told buy the owner they were done because they ran out of supplies. Mind you they had seen pictures of every room every cabinet and any other areas with items that were supposed to get put in storage. They unloaded the truck at the storage and dropped the key off with me and I asked about the rest of the stuff they needed to get done and was told they were done and they took off heading back to San Diego. I contacted the lady who had hired them from the investment company and told her they didn’t finish. She was surprised because yeh informed her they finished. She had them come back and told them what was left to do and was still trying to finish up what I was packing up myself but every time I turned around they were asking that still needed to go which went on for at least an hour and my patience ran out after the first time they asked. The guy who was sent to make sure I left the house for the last time showed up and made things that much worse asking the same question when I finally got so fed up I told them everything needs to go since nobody was listening when I was telling them just what still had to go to storage. I was told I had to leave but they would make sure they got everything out that week it just wouldn’t be that day. Sadly I stopped by the following Monday and saw my grandparents belongings being thrown into a dumpster. Sadly the moving company wasn’t the only business that failed to fulfill their obligations so I have to see what my options are moving forward. I don’t know what they were paid for the job but any payment is more than they’re worth. Please avoid this company because there’s no way I was the first person they did this to and I’d hate for it to happen to anyone else.some of the items in the pictures did get put I. Storage but quite a bit didn’t make it. Lion pride aren’t the only ones responsible but if they finished the job they were hired to do then this review wouldn’t be necessary. I hope all I’ve said makes sense. If it doesn’t Im sure people can figure out what I’m trying to say.
