Anders and his team are amazing. We are building an ADU in place of our old garage and adding a new garage next to it. Knowing how hard the process can be, dealing with regulations and city requirements, we wanted to have the architect with the knowledge and experience work in the town we live in. Anders was recommended to us by our neighbors who worked with him in the past on a similar project. Anders listens and cares and always open to discuss details and changes that come up both in the process or by our request. My favorite part of working with ALA is how easy our communication is and how fast Anders and Brian respond to our emails. Though we are still in the process of design review we are very excited about the designs that ALA created for us and highly recommend them for your future projects.

Anders and his team are the real deal! Not only is Anders extremely talented in creating and designing beautiful spaces, but he is 100% down to earth and amazing to work with. Anders does an excellent job of listening to his clients' vision and desire for the space, while also sharing his expertise and guiding the direction of the project overall. He takes the time to get to know and understand his clients' needs and lifestyle so that a thoughtful and purposeful space can be designed and ultimately created. Throughout various projects, I have met designers, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors who have worked with Anders for years and every single person has nothing to say but good things. I cannot compliment him enough for how he carries himself, how he leads his team, and services his clients!

Working with Anders Lasater Architects has been a highlight for our design team. We have admired Anders, his team and their work for quite some time. Once we were able to actually work together on some shared projects, we quickly learned how buttoned up they are. Their attention to detail, high-quality design and detailed understanding of the design-build process justifies the reputation that preceded. Exceptional design, service and value are three big take-aways from our experience working with Anders Lasater Architects. It is quite clear, that few architects care as much about a project from conception through final deliverables and end result. A lot of industry professionals we work with can start a project, but it is the few and far between who have the stamina, patience and overall professionalism to see a project from inception to completion. The Anders Lasater Team has not only become award-winning, highly recognized and published leaders within our industry, but are leaders with each and every project they embark on. They work diligently to ensure a fine balancing of the various forces that may influence a project. Whether it be neighbors, city planners, builders, designers, engineers, or misc. consultants, this team genuinely knows how to work as composers to ensure a beautifully orchestrated vision comes to life for the homeowner. For those of us with true passion for what we do, it is all about the end result and satisfaction for the client. With Anders Lasater Architects, this passion shines through and the homeowner gets the best of all worlds: customer service, innovative, best-in-class design, technical mastery and thoughtful project management from start to finish. The Duffek Design Team is proud to work with Anders and his team and look forward to many more projects in the future.

Choosing to work with Anders and his team for our major home renovation project in Laguna Beach was a good decision for many reasons. Working quickly they developed great design solutions for the house that not only met our needs, but also went beyond our expectation for design. Anders is very experienced working with the City of Laguna Beach and he secured Design Review approval at our first hearing - which is no easy task! Now, as we're getting ready to build the house, Anders and his team are helping us find the right builder so we can hit the ground running as soon as permits are ready. We are very pleased that we chose Anders Lasater Architects and would gladly recommend them to others.

Each client that I've had the pleasure of working with through Anders Lasater Architects has been excited by the design process.
