Horst designed a home for me and my wife in Laguna Beach and I'm very happy with the job he did for us. Peter Anderson, you seem to have problems but I don't think Horst is the cause. It's really not cool to trash a good man's name in an online review like you did. So Horst followed his own vision? That's because he's an artist. If you didn't like his style, you shouldn't have hired him in the first place. As for the rest of your review, it says more about you than about Horst. I found Horst to be an exceptional architect with a superb eye for modern design. He is approachable, dependable, and highly professional. If you don't like contemporary architecture, maybe you should hire someone else. Otherwise, Horst is an excellent choice.

Horst and his team are talented, professional and very knowledgeable about Laguna Beach design requirements and process. I feel fortunate that our dream house is in his capable hands. He and his team are kind, patient and accommodating. My husband and I have differing esthetics and Horst magically melded both and was extremely diplomatic in the process. His team’s work is thorough, reliable and efficient. Horst Architects is top notch.

Horst is an Exceptional Architect!! I have worked with him on multiple projects, and he is spot on when it come to a Sexy Contemporary Design. Horst is very creative and pays close attention to details. After meeting him to discuss the style I am looking for, his designs are often better than I had initially envisioned. He is such a pleasure to work with!

Having worked with several architects, I feel Horst is one of the very talented and creative architects. All the persons that I have dealt with in his company over the last 4 years have been wonderful people to work with. They have thoughtfully taken into consideration all our design requirements and come up with contemporary and modern home designs. Horst is very friendly and a great person to work with.

We've worked with Horst and team over the last few years on a remodel of a heritage home. Through many revisions, often prompted by city and heritage reviews, Horst and team have been creative, prompt and professional. We love the plans they've developed. While our property is more traditional than contemporary, we've appreciated Horst's ability to move between the two. And aside from that, he and his team are just really nice people.
