Kari Whitman transformed our house in Newport Coast, CA into an extraordinary space that feels both magazine-worthy and deeply personal. Every room flows beautifully and feels intentional. The balance of textures, colors, furnishings, and art is impeccable—an effortless, elevated elegance that feels instinctive, refined, and beyond description, yet never overdone. Kari has an incredible eye for proportion and detail, and her taste in art is truly exceptional. Each piece feels thoughtfully curated, gallery-worthy, and perfectly placed, elevating the home in a way that feels sophisticated, timeless, and meaningful. Beyond her talent, Kari’s passion for her work is unmistakable—you can feel it the moment you are with her. Her enthusiasm is genuine and infectious, making the entire design process incredibly fun and exciting. She truly listens, taking the time to understand not only what you like, but why you like it. She never imposes her own style; instead, she guides thoughtfully and intuitively, developing a design scheme that reflects your wishes and your taste. Somehow, she brought the whole house together in a way that matched exactly what we love—even things we didn’t fully realize when we first started. She is also refreshingly budget-conscious—always transparent, thoughtful, and strategic—helping us make smart design decisions while maximizing impact and long-term value. Working with her was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. The response to our home has been overwhelming. Everyone who has seen it is beyond stunned, and several friends have even traveled across state lines just to experience her work in person. We are incredibly grateful for Kari’s vision and wholeheartedly recommend Kari Whitman to anyone looking for a designer who delivers exceptional results with integrity, passion, and extraordinary taste. Love Love Love ❤️ — and even that doesn’t begin to capture how we feel. Erica & Michael Tran

Kari Whitman Interiors is a very professional design firm, and Kari designed a home that I absolutely love. Every detail was considered, and the artistry that went into every space really showed itself in the final product. I am very happy that I chose this firm to design my home, and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants their home to be spectacular.

This is my first time working with Kari and it’s been a great experience. Kari and her team are amazing at what they do. This is a big project (to me anyway :) ) and they have walked me through the entire thing. From making plans, coming up with ideas, renovating, decorating and everything in between. Kari is amazing at making a way out of no way. She’s handled my project like a pro and helped me so much. I’ve learned a lot and really enjoyed the process! We will definitely be working together again.

We have had the honour of working with Kari on a number of really unique high end projects. Being a bespoke manufacturer we have been able to accomplish many stunning designs for Kari's and her teams clients. She has amazing taste in furnishings and always serves us up statement pieces to create. Cant wait to see what she has for us next!

I interviewed Kari and her team when my boyfriend and I purchased our home in the Hollywood Hills a few months ago. Out of the many decorators I interviewed, I was blown away by her passion and creativity. Once the decorating process began, up until it was complete, Kari and her team never ceased to amaze us. Kari's attention to detail, creativity, and resourcefulness absolutely contributed to creating our dream home. If you're looking to be blown away in decorating your home I strongly recommend hiring Kari and her team.
