Martin, Sree and team were fantastic across the board. Both kind and professional human beings. Made the experience of getting new plans and permits oddly enough both tolerable and enjoyable. Couldn't recommend them anymore. They actually care and were attentive and solution oriented every step of the way. If you're looking for good people to help you get your project moving forward...this is where they reside. Thank you, guys!

I hired Sreerag and his architectural firm to design and reconfigure my home in West Los Angeles a couple of years back. The house was old and run down and very dated. The kitchen and one of the bathrooms was totally gutted and redesigned. It also included knocking down a load-bearing wall to open up the kitchen to the living quarters. It all worked out beautifully. Sreerag hired a contractor and oversaw the entire remodel from start to finish. I am one happy customer and will definitely hire them again if/when I need them.

Working with Martin and Sree has been nothing short of a pleasant experience. Upon our first meeting, the team clicked. It's easy to notice their love for architecture and dedication to their clients. The artistic creativity is coupled with a professional standard that is also accompanied with genuine care. Highly recommended architecture firm.

Our project with Studio D+R wasn’t a big one —- just a small balcony. But it was an important one to my husband and me because that balcony is on the front of our house and is a major design element and focal point. Even though it wasn’t a huge project, Martin Mervel was fully invested in giving us a great result and he delivered. He was a real pleasure to work with.

My experience with Martin Mervel and Studio D+R was beyond expectations. As an artist and the son of an architect, my bar was set high. Martin and his team redesigned our 1974 2-story townhouse for me and my wife. This included removal of multiple walls and opening up a floating staircase set against an open floor to ceiling window. The staircase was designed by Martin with his supervision of engineering and construction. It is truly a piece of art. Martin found 'hidden space' and created high vaulted ceilings in what used to be nearly claustrophobic bathrooms, creating a great feeling of space and light. He took our input and every detail of the project personally. You know when someone cares about their work. Our taste is modern and he was able to take a home from 50 years ago and transform it into an extremely well functioning living environment with beautiful, bright spaces and effortless flow for entertainment. Martin worked well with our contractor, city planning commission and structural engineer. Most people have nightmare stories after a major remodel but we have only good memories and daily joy from the results of our experience. Jeff and Lisa L.
