Everything was handled carefully, and they made the entire moving process feel easy and stress-free. They worked quickly without ever making us feel like they were rushing or cutting corners. We really appreciated how helpful and respectful the entire team was from start to finish. Everything arrived safely and was placed exactly where we wanted it. Another great move on behalf of a VERY happy client! From start to finish, the team was amazing to work with, as usual! Always our first call as move managers - this client was going from San Diego to Portland. The team arrived, efficiently loaded and headed on a dedicated truck directly to delivery. They arrived within 48 hours and had her unloaded efficiently. Prices are competitive and client ended up paying LESS for a dedicated truck, as opposed to having a brokered load that would take over a week to get there. Great job as always, team!

I don't write reviews often, but A SMART MOVE absolutely earned this one. We recently moved across San Diego and this was a large, complicated move involving a packed five-bedroom house, storage, a long uphill driveway, and ultimately even a furniture hoist to get a massive sectional couch into a second-floor room. From start to finish, the team was outstanding. On move day, Alfonso, Alberto, Koko, Jose, and Rodolfo worked incredibly hard. These guys showed up with great attitudes, treated our belongings with care, communicated well throughout the process, and never stopped moving. Anyone who has moved a family knows how stressful it can be, and they made what could have been a chaotic experience feel organized and under control. Special shoutout to Alfonso and Koko. They were true professionals and natural leaders throughout the entire process. They consistently went above and beyond, stayed positive no matter what challenge came up, and represented the company exceptionally well. What really impressed me, though, was what happened after the move. We had a very large sectional that couldn't make it upstairs through the normal route. A SMART MOVE came back with Alfonso, Koko, Jessye, and Jose to hoist the couch to the second level. Not only did they successfully complete a very difficult job, but they did so safely, professionally, and with a level of determination that was genuinely impressive to watch. Along the way, I had concerns about some aspects of the move and spent time discussing them with Hayden and the management team. They listened, took my concerns seriously, investigated them thoroughly, communicated professionally, and never treated me like just another invoice. In fact, they went so far as to test one of the assumptions I had made, and it turned out they were right and I was wrong. I have a lot of respect for a company that is willing to put in that level of effort to get to the facts rather than simply argue. At the end of the day, moving is one of the most stressful things a family can do. What separates great companies from average ones isn't whether challenges arise. It's how they respond when they do. From the beginning, Tony was super responsive and quick to send us a quote. He went over the phone with me to get a ballpark inventory. LJ, our coordinator has been wonderfully supportive through the whole process. She has great attention to detail and was very proactive in her role and guidance. Brian and the rest of the team (5 guys total) were great! They were efficient at packing, thorough, and so carefully with all our items. They arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) to coordinate the route out of our building with the building’s moving coordinator. They then did a walk through with us and made the game plan for the morning. All guys in the team were respectful, pleasant to work with, and hard-working. I really highly recommend this whole team!

Couldn’t be happier with my experience using A Smart Move! The entire process was seamless, from booking to moving day, the communication was excellent and the team went above and beyond. Chris and Josh were punctual, professional, and handled everything with so much care. They worked quickly but never rushed, making sure all of my items were wrapped and protected.
