Javi and Chris were incredible! My wife and I had to move twice in a week due to some unfortunate apartment circumstances. Both times Chris and Javi were our movers and they took great care of us. The service was professional, friendly, and very efficient! I hope we dont have to move for a long time; but, when we do, were coming back to Dominant Movers.

We hired Dominant for a move from a downtown condo building, which has its own complications given parking challenges and elevator use. Our moving team was Bryan, Alejandro, and Mario. They did a fantastic job. They worked quickly, but took care with our belongings. The condo building complemented their work and acknowledged how smoothly the move went. We received our full move deposit back from the condo management as there was no damage or mishaps during the move. They were cheerful, helpful, and accommodating. They helped rearrange some items at the new place and asked for us to view and approve placement of large items before moving on to the next item. The move went super smoothly and I would absolutely use them again. Thanks Roman, Bryan, Alejandro, and Mario for a successful move!

Luis and Mario were super kind, patient, efficient and helpful with my move. They took the time to carefully wrap my TV and all of the delicate furniture as well as make sure all the furniture was placed exactly where I wanted in my new place. I would 100% hire Dominant Moving Company again for my next move. If you are assigned these two gentlemen, you’ll be in good hands! tip: make sure you have the TV remote and cable with the TV before they arrive as their policy is they want to make sure the TV turns on before they move it for liability reasons. Don’t pack it away just yet.

Mario and Luigi were both so hard working and careful during my move with them. I had a lot of stuff to move and with such limited time. They were able to move all of my important belongings in a very timely manner and with great care. They were super informative, patient and kind throughout the whole process! 10/10 service, highly recommend this company and specifically Mario and Luigi :) Thank you!

We used this company for a recent local move within the San Diego area. The move itself was completed and nothing major was lost, but there were a couple issues that future customers should be aware of. First, our TV frame was bent during the move. I understand that accidents can happen when moving large items. However, how the situation was handled was disappointing. The damage was not brought to our attention by the crew even though it was clearly visible and something we would obviously notice once setting the TV up. When we pointed it out ourselves, it was suggested that the damage may have already existed. As someone representing a company, mistakes happen, but how they are handled matters. Downplaying the issue and not being upfront about it felt like a shady way to deal with the situation. I’ve included photos showing the bent frame, which was not present before the move. Second, the billing structure is hourly, and the clock continues running during downtime. The drive between our old apartment and new apartment is about 15 minutes. While the contract allows for up to 30 minutes of billed driving time, the time billed reflected closer to about an hour between locations. During that time the crew left for lunch while we waited at the new apartment for about an hour for them to return. I wouldn’t have had an issue with them taking a lunch break, but because the clock was still running it effectively meant paying about $175 for that time. Because of the way the TV damage was handled combined with the extended downtime that we were billed for, this is why I’m giving 2 out of 5 stars. My advice to future customers is to inspect items carefully before the crew leaves and keep a close eye on how time is being tracked during the move.
