We had an outstanding experience with this moving company for our cross-country move from California to Pennsylvania. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations.
One of the biggest reasons we chose them was that they provided a dedicated truck. No other company we spoke with offered that, and it made a huge difference. Our belongings weren’t transferred between trucks or mixed with anyone else’s shipment, which gave us a lot of peace of mind.
Even more impressive was the delivery time. Our entire household arrived at our new home in just 5 days—weeks sooner than any other mover quoted us. When you’re relocating across the country, not having to wait weeks for your belongings makes the transition so much easier and less stressful.
The crew also packed our entire kitchen, and they did an incredible job. Everything arrived safely, and not a single item was broken. We were genuinely amazed at how carefully everything was packed and handled.
The service wasn’t the cheapest, but it was absolutely worth every penny. The speed, professionalism, care, and peace of mind were invaluable. If you’re planning a long-distance move, I would recommend them without hesitation.

We hired this company for a move from our 2-bedroom condo to our 3-bedroom home a few weeks ago, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
From the moment the crew arrived, something felt off. The foreman came across as rude and unprofessional. Throughout the day, there were multiple instances where it felt like he and another mover were laughing at us and making inappropriate jokes, which made an already stressful day even more uncomfortable.
Before the move began, we completed a walkthrough together. I gave clear instructions on exactly what needed to be packed, and we had already packed approximately 15-20 boxes ourselves to help make the process more efficient. Despite that, the move took about 12 hours simply to transport the contents of a 2-bedroom condo to our new home. Communication throughout the day was minimal, and the timeline seemed unusually long.
Unfortunately, several items were damaged during the move, including:
• A computer monitor broke
• My son’s crib
• A chair
• Most significantly, the stair nosing on our staircase was completely pulled loose. The damage to the staircase was obvious, and it was clear the crew knew it had happened, yet no one mentioned it to us.
There were also numerous signs of carelessness throughout the move:
• The air conditioning was turned on while doors and windows were left open after the crew left.
• their lunch trash was left inside
• An entire half bathroom was never packed, despite the crew clearly knowing it existed (the toilet had been used since there was urine left in it and the seat was left up).
• They also left behind a TV mount, framed picture, two wall sconces, and a rug in one of the bedrooms.
The pricing was another major issue. We were originally quoted approximately $2,800. The day before the move, I specifically called to review every service we needed and asked whether there was anything that would increase the cost. I was explicitly told that $2,800 would be the maximum. Our final bill ended up being over $3,500.
To make matters even more uncomfortable, when it was time to pay, the foreman held a large tablet while the tip screen appeared and simply stood there watching me review the tip options. It felt extremely awkward and unnecessarily pressured.
The following day, I contacted the company to report the damage, the items left behind, and the trash. The person I initially spoke with was kind, empathetic, and assured me the issues would be investigated. I promptly emailed photos documenting everything.
However, my experience after that was disappointing. Arthur responded to my email and largely shifted the blame onto me, stating it was my responsibility to ensure everything had been packed—even though we had completed a walkthrough together before the move. He offered to send a handyman to inspect the staircase damage, but by then we no longer lived at the property, and coordinating repairs had become our responsibility with the previous landlord. Ultimately, the only resolution offered was a $100 refund for the trash left behind.
Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with damaged belongings, damage to the home you are moving out of, incomplete work, poor communication, and unexpected charges. After reading so many positive reviews, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service.
Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this company.

UPDATE: The manager, Arthur, reached out to me directly via email after seeing my review below. He was professional and understanding, and offered fair compensation for the damage and service issues I experienced. I’m impressed by how quickly Grizzly reached out to make things right. Thank you Arthur!
Some positives and negatives here. The movers arrived on time, worked very efficiently, and were super communicative and friendly. They were overall pretty careful with my things, but a few of my items were damaged. While moving my dresser drawers (they were taken out beforehand to make the dresser lighter to move), two of them fell to the ground and the handles were ripped out of the wood. The wood is now damaged and the handles won’t screw in properly. I’m going to have to repair it. The movers also indicated that they were going to assemble my bed frame, but they didn’t end up doing it. There was also an item that said “please discard” that they moved to my new place, and they asked me what ‘discard’ meant so I told them it meant trash (there was a language barrier, so I totally understood the confusion). They said they could take it, then ended up leaving it for me to dispose of. There is also some small damage on my nesting tables. See all images below. I know damage and small mistakes are common whether you use movers or not, but overall Grizzly did not quite meet my expectations unfortunately.

Words cannot describe how amazing this company and team are. We had other movers scheduled and they bailed THE DAY OF. I was frantic and stressed. I googled “same day movers” and Grizzly popped up. Roy answered the call and was calm, clear, and offered to jump in if he could mobilize a team. He wasted no time in confirming a crew that was willing to work a back to back job to help me out. Not only was it an immediate sense of relief, but the team that arrived was incredible. They got right to work and took the utmost care in wrapping, protecting, and moving all our things. They never stopped moving once, it was quite incredible how strong their work ethic and tenacity was. You rarely find this level of service and finding folks who truly go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy.
I am forever grateful to Grizzly and to their amazing team for jumping in to save the day. You now have a forever fan!!

Extremely timely and professional! Two gentlemen helped me move my two bedroom apartment across town and it was a seamless process! They were on time, and the company provided a nice link to track the trucks location. The staff was very friendly and careful with all of our furniture! No issues with damage or any missing furniture. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a good quality mover! Thanks to Vitalii and Sergei for being awesome!
