I normally write positive reviews, but this one is necessary. Elite Furniture Movers arrived right on time at 9am, and the two movers assigned to us were kind and clearly tried their best. After the main mover was scoping the house in person, he lead suggested adding a third mover to keep the job within the estimated 5 to 6 hours, which we paid for upfront and were happy to do. Unfortunately, the third mover was completely new and needed constant direction. At several points I saw him standing around waiting to be told what to do next. As a result, the job stretched from an estimated 5 to 6 hours to nearly 10 hours. Our therapeutic mattress topper was left with a large dirty footprint, white lamp shade ruined. We were quoted $900 to $1100 and ended up paying over $2300. My partner and I have used about five different moving companies, so we know what professional, efficient movers look like. Paying “elite” pricing for an undertrained crew felt unfair. We do not recommend.

I am writing this review to warn others about our experience and hopefully get a response from Elite Furniture Moving, as they have still failed to address our concerns. From the beginning, communication was poor. Our movers were scheduled to arrive between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., but after multiple delays and changing arrival times, they didn't arrive until around 3:40 p.m. This caused us to reschedule our cleaners multiple times, incur additional expenses, and created unnecessary stress on an already difficult moving day. After our belongings were packed, we were told they would be transported directly to storage. Instead, days went by with little to no communication about where our possessions were. We repeatedly asked for updates, confirmation that our belongings had arrived safely, the address of the storage facility, and whether we would have access to our items if needed. Our emails and calls often went unanswered for days. We later discovered that our belongings had been placed in a completely different storage facility than the one we were originally told. No one informed us of this change beforehand, and we only found out after repeatedly asking for information. We also discovered an unauthorized pending charge of $2,285 on our credit card after already paying the agreed upon deposit and additional charges. Despite repeatedly asking for an explanation, the company has still not addressed this issue or explained why the charge was made. To make matters even more concerning, after our belongings had already been placed into storage, we were asked to provide a copy of my driver's license and sign additional paperwork that had never been discussed before. Being asked for new documentation after the move was already underway raised serious concerns. Throughout this process, we were repeatedly told that management would contact us, yet those callbacks never happened. Instead of receiving proactive updates, we constantly had to chase the company for answers. As of writing this review, our belongings are still in Elite Furniture Moving's storage facility, and many of our concerns remain unresolved. We are still waiting for answers regarding the unauthorized charge, the change in storage location, and the lack of communication throughout this process. I am writing this review to warn others about our experience and to encourage anyone considering this company to do their research before trusting them with their belongings. I also hope that by posting this review, Elite Furniture Moving will finally respond to our concerns, explain the unauthorized $2,285 charge, clarify why our belongings were moved to a different storage facility than we were originally told, and address the numerous unanswered questions we have raised. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about where your belongings are, why unexpected charges are appearing on your credit card, and whether the moving company will respond to your questions. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Elite Furniture Moving. I sincerely hope the company takes this opportunity to provide the transparency, accountability, and resolution that we have been seeking.

Damaged TV and Bed I should have read the negative reviews before I used these folks. I'll preface this review with... I should have bought the insurance. Shame on me. But i moved 4.5 miles north. Nothing I had moved was out of the ordinary. In fact, I would assume that the items I had moved are about as routine as they get. TVs, beds, furniture, and boxes. Again, about as routine as it gets, very little risk for damage for competent movers. Upon delivery, I found that my TV's screen had been cracked during the move. It wasn't anything special. It was an older 65in curved samsung. It cost quite a bit when i bought it. and something you would think they have done a million times. Again, I did not buy the insurance, but I reached out to them to if there was anything they could do. They offered me a small gesture, i'm assuming to prevent me from writing a negative review. I'm not ungrateful, but what they offered was a bit insulting. The customer service rep (Christine), reminded me that I didn't buy the insurance, and that would be all that they would offer. She was cold and slow to respond. About a week later, the bed my elderly parents bred broke while sleeping in it. Upon inspection, they lost hardware (barrel nut) which holds the footboard and to the side frame. Rather than notify me of the missing piece, they simply put the bed together hoping the pegs would hold it in place. The response to this was similar, quoting insurance, and an offer that trash the bed at $0.60 a pound was given. I disengaged after this message as the service was to disassemble and re-assemble furniture. This is a service I paid for, regardless of insurance. And they did less then deliver, they actual destroyed and damaged two items with no real attempt to resolve.

They were punctual, professional, and handled all of our furniture with great care. The team worked efficiently while still being extremely careful with every item, making the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. They were also very friendly and respectful, which made a big difference on a busy moving day. Highly recommend this team if you’re looking for reliable and top-notch movers!

Junior and Kelsey were our movers and did a fantastic job. It was exceptionally hot that day, but they were focused and took care to pack our things up and deliver them into each of the rooms. They were actually able to complete the job quicker than we expected. Elite Moving company itself was very informative every step of the way advising of the costs, additonal costs and how they conducted their business. I would suggest that if youre looking for a moving company you listen carefully to their overview and review the documents for no extra cost suprises. Overall, we are very pleased with this companys support in getting us into our new home!
