Chris and his team are very knowledgeable about home remodeling in the San Diego area. I really appreciate how they work together and their experience working with older homes in the area. If you’re thinking about a remodel, I recommend giving them a call.

In June of 2023, Chris did a great job redesigning our guest bathroom. It’s such a beautiful space now. He is professional, courteous, and kept things moving along.

Chris at the Balboa Design Group has really been integral to the design of our home. From pulling together both interior and exterior designs for an ADU in our backyard to design work for the interior of our house, he has elevated our ideas and helped us create a much more beautiful and elegant sanctuary. Our home now references the local colors of the region, granite from the hills, rich ocher-brown in the canyons, and a leafy-green reminiciant of the chapparel. He has helped us pick a richer wallpaper in our living room then we would have originally gone with and we are delighted with the outcome, a fabric wallpaper of animals and leaves that have immediately caught the attention of our visitors. Chris is easy to talk to and capable turning suggestions into codified plans. We will definitely continue to work with him.

Stumbling upon Balboa Design Group was truly a gift from God. We had been planning to renovate an entire floor (huge open attic that spanned the length of the house) into our dream Master Suite. After numerous contractors gave us the run-around for months, we stumbled upon Balboa Design Group on Houzz. We reached out thinking our dreams were just not going to be a reality and were stunned when we received a response almost immediately. We walked them through our ideas and before we knew it, we had someone in our home and walking us through a variety of options. Things we hadn't even thought of for our space with all the months we had spent planning it out on our own. We set a budget and they were happy to meet us where we were and with what we were looking for. To say that they built our dream master suite would be an understatement. The bathroom, oh. my. god. The bathroom! I still miss that bathroom. Yes, we eventually sold that home to move to a different neighborhood. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it was 95% that master suite that sold the house well above asking and with multiple offers. We have moved again, this time out of state thanks to remote work, but we will still be using Balboa Design Group to help us as we now build our dream home, not just a floor. The stress that comes with that is non-existent because we have so much trust in what they are capable of. I could go on and on, but just know, working with them will be the best decision you make regardless of the size of your project. And last, THANK YOU Balboa Design Group, you're no longer just a business to us, you're like family! Heck! You've seen us before kids, then with babies, and now big kids!

Amazing design team with great eye for detail and reasonably price. Great expectation setting and problem solving. Their presentation is accurate in what the result is. Would highly recommend!
