Steve went above and beyond for us as we experienced a time-sensitive permitting issue with the city. Our original architect was no longer in practice and he began a same day review and deep dive into our project. His knowledge of local code and years of experience allowed us to avoid making a costly mistake. When we decided to not move forward with submission, he graciously refunded us most of our money despite spending several days of research. We will definitely keep Ergo Architecture in mind for future projects!

We had a very positive experience with ERGO Architecture, whom we reached out to for a second opinion on a difficult project situation. We appreciated his professionalism, responsiveness, and practical guidance. It was clear he cared about giving us useful, honest input. Steve brought clarity to a complex permitting issue and helped us better understand the importance of approaching the City transparently and strategically. We would recommend Steve and ERGO Architecture to anyone looking for a knowledgeable architect who can bring clarity, honesty, and practical direction to a complex project.

I am very satisfied with the Feasibility Study performed by Ergo Architecture. The work product demonstrated a high yield best use of the property, and the study also resolved several potential issues that I though might limit its best use. Steve and Elizabeth were engaging, very accommodating to questions and concerns, and I thought their technical knowledge clearly conveyed the property's best use in a code-heavy part of town. I think this study adds quite a bit of value to the property both to its present owners, as we know what is possible now, as well as any prospective future owner.

I worked with Ergo to develop the exterior of my restaurant. They were great to work with, worked quickly, cane up with multiple great options and were really receptive to feedback. I worked with Steve and Elizabeth and loved the experience, it was very refreshing to have such a painless process. Highly recommend!

Steve Mayman was exceptional to work with. His deep knowledge combined with his creativity and ability to think outside the box saved us tens of thousands of dollars if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. I feel lucky we found Ergo to handle our job!
