I moved last year, and the one thing that stood out to me was that Timothy actually knew the specific import rules. He told me exactly which items needed to be declared separately and what documents I had to prepare on my end before the shipment left. I had called two other companies before SDC, and neither of them gave me that kind of specific information, so I was going back and forth trying to figure it out myself. He literally saved me a lot of time, and I did not run into any issues at the customs end. Great service and totally recommend them!

Moving internationally from Los Angeles to Thailand was a much smoother experience than I expected. The team was professional, organized, and communicative throughout the entire process. They clearly explained the shipping timeline, customs requirements, and documentation, which helped reduce the stress of an international move. My belongings arrived in Thailand in excellent condition, and everything was carefully packed and handled with care. The delivery team was punctual and courteous, making the final stage of the move easy and hassle-free. International relocations can be overwhelming, but this company made the experience straightforward and reliable. I appreciated their responsiveness and attention to detail from start to finish. I would confidently recommend their services to anyone planning an international move from Los Angeles to Thailand. THANK YOU SDC & Timothy for all your help!

My entire experience with SDC International Shipping this past winter and spring (2026) was superb. Their staff were exceptionally competent, professional, courteous, reliable, and prompt in response to all my queries and requests. The rate offered and charged was highly competitive, and the service that I contracted was performed to perfection, door-to-door, exactly as agreed. All procedures involved were executed with zero problems for me. I highly recommend SDC to anyone making an international move.

I had an outstanding experience with SDC International Shipping and I would like to give credit to their representative, CHRISTIAN R. From the start, he was attentive and incredibly thorough. We went over all the details of every fee, potential extra cost, and cancellation policy so I knew exactly what to expect. He was in close contact with his overseas team in Germany and kept me updated at every step. He went above and beyond to ensure I got the best price and provided excellent service. I felt truly supported. I would recommend SDC and especially CHRISTIAN without hesitation! To Christian: I never write reviews and have never done an International move. I moved to Germany with suitcases to try and build a future there with someone which ultimately didn´t work out. You have been a bright light in a darker time. This is an experience I won´t easily forget. You have my sincerest thanks. -Mike

SDC moved my wife’s household from Oakland, CA to Frankfurt, Germany. The pickup was on time and professional, everything needed got wrapped in cardboard and foil. It all arrived safe after 4 months, including her squeaky yellow bike. Thanks a lot!
