Starting with Incredible Isabel who fielded my request - she was so prompt, friendly, addressed our needs and gave us a great deal on pricing too. The set up crew with Kevin and Tee were both awesome and they ensured all was working properly and were professional and friendly too. This entire team was amazing and we definitely use them again! The Los Angeles Business Travel Association has used State of the Art many times for our member meetings, and we've found their product and service to be of high value, and their pricing to be competitive. We are happy to continue to use them.

I work in nonprofit, and State of the Art is accommodating to our staff who has little experience with A/V, and their services are one that we can afford. We just love working with their team, especially Kevin, who is usually our on site technician. Kevin has staffed events for us at Ripple Effect Walk, our mental health conference, and Galas at private estates, and he has done a great job every time. State of the Art has been my go to A/V team since 2021 and I don't see that changing any time soon.

We engaged State of the Art for our annual event as a last-minute replacement after our initial vendor cancelled. While planning appeared to go smoothly and all indications suggested readiness, they failed to deliver on a critical aspect: the Livestream. This omission left us scrambling, with only Zoom recordings salvaging the situation. Moreover, the Zoom recordings were marred by a lack of audio for the first 22 minutes and a cessation of speaker footage after approximately 10 minutes. In response to the Livestream failure, we had to resort to a volunteer's impromptu Facebook Live recording -- a workaround we would have expected State of the Art to think of first. Considering the substantial fee we paid, we anticipated contingency plans for unforeseen challenges. Instead, there was no indication of backup strategies whatsoever. Also, not only was there no Livestream, but they produced no video recording for us to upload later. Our attempts to address these issues afterwards with the company were met with significant resistance from the owner, who essentially gaslit us. We acknowledge we're not AV experts. We engaged State of the Art precisely for their expertise in this domain. Unfortunately, their dismissive response and lack of accountability left us deeply disappointed. In hindsight, clearer real-time communication from them about on-site challenges could have mitigated some of the issues we encountered. However, the dismissive and confrontational response from State of the Art was both unprofessional and antithetical to our organization's objectives. Moving forward, we hope to collaborate with partners who not only demonstrate technical proficiency but also uphold the values of professionalism, preparation, transparency, clear communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with State of the Art.

I worked with State of the Art AV for an event this month in Torrance and the staff were resourceful, and very courteous during the event and leading up to. The event was a success due to the team's quick actions and ability to think on their feet. I highly recommend if you are looking for AV services in SoCal. Thank you for making our event a success!
