The theater they designed came out beautifully and the motorized shades and drapery were detailed with real care. What I keep telling people about, though, is the lighting: they sat with our lighting designer well into the night, past 11 at one point, getting every scene and dimming preference exactly the way she wanted it. Most integrators want to program in the afternoon and be gone. It was great working with them.

Over the years I have worked with Owner's reps, custom home builders, where we manage large estate projects for private clients, so I work with a lot of trades and vendors. HTS is one of the few I'll put in writing, and have consistently delivered high quality system design & integration in Los Angeles. We brought them in on a significant Bel Air estate build for a client who is very private and very particular about security. HTS handled the full smart home integration / IT & technology package really end-to-end. Control4, cinema level theater, Lutron lighting and motorized shades, IT networking and support, commercial grade entertainment package with James Loudspeakers and Sonance, and it's all beautiful and works flawlessly. But the reason I'm writing this is the part most integrators don't touch: the IT networking and cyber security across the property. They engineered the entire estate network from the ground up, segmented and locked down, with the Axis communication cameras, Laser & Sirens, AI face recognition and license plate recognition, Schlage smart locks, and Doorbird access control for the front gate, all on protected systems and monitored around the clock. What impressed my client most was how seamlessly the Control4 controlled the house and how the security & networking worked with his physical security team, the network and cyber side gave the protection detail better eyes on the property and one clean, secure system instead of a patchwork. I hadn't seen another company pull that off at this level. On top of that, they're professional, discreet, they hit their timeline, and they didn't sub out the critical work. Truly remarkable execution and service after the project was over.
